August was just as busy as July, but we got a couple days off at the end of the month to go camping. We went towards Yellow Pine, near the Frank Church Wilderness. It was a gorgeous drive out there over Lick Creek Summit.
The river below is all from a bubbling thermal spring, called Vulcan Hot Springs. It's enchanting, even though the area was engulfed by the large forest fires last summer.
This Monday was the annual Tamarack employee raft trip, and this year Dave came too! It was a great time even though the river was low. Lots of bald eagle sightings. Now we're very much looking forward to seeing our families again this November! Miss you!!
