We visited the redwood grove near Amy's office at the University. And then our ocean bound journey began with an awesome river car ferry ride.
We had cocktails and appetizers at an ocean front restaurant once we arrived. What a view!View from restaurant table.

On my birthday, I woke up to see these gorgeous arrangements that Dave made.
We went for another walk after coffee.
And then to see this blowhole near the highway.
It was the best fun and laughter of the trip. So cool to see such a natural phenomenon!!
We enjoyed a lot of views. This one is from the backyard of our Airbnb. We took a walk to see the seals and sea birds.
This one sitting on the fence looks like it's perched on Dave's shoulders.

Our walk together before a Thai dinner in Newport, a town just south of where we stayed.
On our last day on the coast we visited this gorgeous State Park and walked the beach.
The seas are always fun to watch and try to photographically capture.
Hours of watching flies by in mere moments.

After returning to Albany, Amy took us for amazing tacos and this gorgeous nature walk.
It is in a University owned area with trails that compare the old and new forests.
Lots of gorgeous moss and ferns in the old grown forest.
After leaving Amy, Rob and Zach, we stopped for a hike on our way home.
And stopped again to rest at Camp Sherman just outside of Bend, Oregon. It was so beautiful to see so much greenery in the middle of winter before returning to McCall, still covered with snow.
