 Wildflowers on our first hike after I got home, to Twin Lakes.

 This is Granite Lake where we took Roger and Bette camping several years ago.

 The hike up to Josephine lake off Warren Wagon road.  We were searching for bear grass.

 It's been years since we've driven up here for the view, and so glad we did on a clear day.

We did so many fun things with Dave during his time off!  Lots of hiking and some really long scenic drives on forest service roads.  We even saw the salmon fishing flurry on the Salmon River (they swim 750 miles from the ocean to get here via the Columbia River).  We bought some from the local Nez Perce Native Americans and it was delicious! Burgdorf Hot Springs was wonderful as usual, as was trying out a bunch of new recipes.  We then went to Joni & Kory's wedding in Denver and enjoyed catching up with a bunch of friends and staying in a lovely home downtown.  It's wonderful to be back home in McCall and I can't wait until Dave gets here!
