Autumn

This autumn was an excruciatingly painful time as we lost David's Mom; a truly inspiring woman who we now carry with us everyday in our hearts.

Here are some autumn pictures:

We went for a quick 3 day backpacking trip out of Stanley, ID.

We got to see some fall colors in Boise before heading back to work.

The lake in McCall at the end of October.


November brought David and I too Fort Wayne.

Although I won't ever have the words for goodbye, it was wonderful to get to see Bette again.  It's been incredibly difficult to bear her loss, but as a genuine inspiration of kindness and strength, we carry her spirit with us everywhere.  

We took a quick trip to Chicago to take Jen and the kids to the train station.

In December, Dave went to Fort Wayne and I to Reno for a family visit.
