Payette Lake
We had some lovely sunsets together.
We hiked to Twin Lakes off of Brundage Mountain Road. In the fall there are two distinct lakes due to the water level being much lower.
We saw lots of these burgundy Poke Knotweed and the white Pearly Everlasting, as well as gorgeous granite cliff views.
We rode the rail trail out to our new property and saw firefighting helicopters with buckets of water.
It was a scary sight looking south and seeing both the east and west mountain fires in the distance.
The fires were at their worst and we even had ash and burnt wood chunks on our patio from it. It was a scary time to leave Dave and head back up to work for an Environmental Advisor position I got. But when I returned the fires were under control and the air was clear again.
Dave surprised me by redoing our living room furniture with a wooden wrap and golden inlay. They're so beautiful!
Fall was full on when I returned in September, with lots of color in the city's trees.
Finally, clear air and a gorgeous lake view!
We walked to the Sheep Bridge in town.
And visited the site work of the power company's installation of a power box on our property.
We also visited our old property on West Mountain road and saw that the new owners had continued our design concept with stone retaining walls at parking areas.

We visited Burgdorf Hot Springs and had a relaxing time.
We had lovely fall weeks in Idaho with incredible days and colors. I certainly felt blessed to have the summer off to spend with Dave on travel and outdoor adventures.
