This mid-Oct to mid-November cruise was a lot more fun than usual because we did a lot of operations in the small boats, putting in Cape Shireff field camp and servicing a remote CODAR site, both on islands that were inaccessible by larger ship.  I was lucky to have some really cool gals to work with.  Had a couple weeks off with Dave in Idaho working on our condo and having some amazing meals, including our first dinner at Steamer's (steak and trout!).  Then I left December 4th to go through McMurdo out to WAIS Divide Deep Field Camp to fuel the aircraft, generators and stoves for two months.

For girl time, I took my friend Katie a few miles from camp to a spot where you see nothing but flat white in every direction via snowmobile.  Gorgeous and peaceful.

My birthday was so fun!  Coffee with the ladies at the BFC, a bloody mary with WAIS friends and then hours of boating with my Marine Tech friends and these gals from WAIS.  Beautiful sunny day with no wind and lots of seals.

Quite a windy season out at WAIS, with wind that blew in snow everyday, causing nonstop shoveling.  Met some great folks and happy to have seen my friends at McMurdo along the way.  Glad to be back with Dave, who will meet me here in Florida in just days. :)  

Our Wedding 9.12.15

 Our Wedding turned out better and so much more fun than we imagined!  With great help from our wonderful family and friends, no details were neglected.  And the whole day and night seamlessly went from magical moment to the next.  Thank you everyone for all your love and support!  And for coming!

 It's been years since I was at Dora's wedding to my Brother, and this time they came all the way from Norway to be a part of our wedding.  Thanks guys, love you!

This one is particularly adorable to me.  I was surprised and elated by how many people participated in the mustache wearing the day before and during our wedding.  What awesome family and friends!

Our reception was also on Davis Beach, under the tents for shade, a catered BBQ dinner with local salmon baked by Emily and wedding cupcakes decorated by Isaac, Abby, Tia and Hanna.

 Instead of cutting the cake, we decided to cut Dave's mustache for good luck.  It was so funny!  My beautiful hair accessories were also made by Julie.  Thank you!

Our nephew and nieces decorated the cupcakes I baked for our wedding, and they did such a beautiful job.  I love the ones with the hearts.  Beautiful!

It was such an incredibly fun wedding.  A lovely beach reception and then the incredibly hilarious after party at Emily's with a bonfire and basement Hungarian wine bar.  Thank you so much for all your help, for coming, for all your support and love over the years.  Love you all!!!
