The huckleberries ripened a month earlier this year than their usual. But we were excited nevertheless to be able to catch them in season and pick a bunch to freeze for the winter. We even picked some on our property this time home.

We tried a new hike called Fisher Creek near Sater Meadows off of Brundage Road.

July is our absolute favorite time of the year in McCall. Everything is spectacular then. The trails are nice and dry for hiking and biking and the area explodes in wildflowers. We LOVE it!
